Paperstone countertops share many of the advantages of stone, concrete, or solid surface counters, and are resistant to stains, scratches and scorching. Paperstone is made from compressed recycled cardboard or paper and resins from cashew hulls–don’t be fooled though, this stuff is hard! We tested the material by leaving a chunk in a bucket of water for three days, and we found no damage upon removal. Many of the colors have a slightly mottled appearance which lends variation and warmth to your application. View colors below, but be sure to look at a sample at our showroom before making a decision. Paperstone is available in 1″ and 3/4″ for horizontal applications, and material pricing ranges from $30-$53 per square foot, depending on panel size, color, and thickness. We have been working with Cotton Raye Construction as a fabricator of Paperstone, and we’re happy to put you in touch with them to get an estimate on fabrication and installation.
