Ultratouch is cotton batt insulation made from the remnants of cotton clothing manufacture. It is available in R13, R19, R21 and R30, all in 16″ or 24″ widths. In contrast to fiberglass, which contains formaldehyde in addition to its itchy qualities, Ultratouch is just cotton fibers treated with boric acid as a pest and flame retardant.
