The white dial monochromatic yellow gold Audemars Piguet chronograph is a modern classic—with this particular reference made even more desirable by the fact that it was discontinued in 2012. A selfwinding chronograph with hour, minute, date display and small seconds at the 6 o'clock position, this is an incredibly versatile and well balanced take on the iconic design. Sized perfectly at 39mm, and featuring an 18-carat yellow gold case and leather strap this timepiece conveys class and concern for quality. The watch also features glareproofed sapphire crystal, a screw-locked crown, and a mesmerizing dial with the “Grande Tapisserie” pattern. The unique square-shaped applied hour-markers offer a variation on the traditional Audemars Piguet design language, though there are certainly familiar components like the Royal Oak hands with luminescent coating. This timepiece is water resistant to 50 meters with a power reserve of 40 hours. This example is in spectacular like-new condition and comes with archive papers.
