Vintage Chaumet Vista Signed Necklace

When the house of Chaumet was founded in France in 1780, it quickly became the official jeweler to the Empress Josephine and therefore forever entwined with French history.  Currently headquartered in the Place Vendôme in Paris, an area of renowned high jewelry production in France, Chaumet continues to produce impressive pieces with an iconically French touch.

Heavyweight and substantial, this link necklace signed Chaumet and circa 1990’s is part of Chaumet’s archived “Vista” line. The double-line connectors between each link is a deceptively simple touch, bringing in just enough elevating detail to keep the piece from becoming overwhelming.  Because this necklace successfully walks the fine line between casual and dressy, it would look equally as appropriate in the office as it would with a tee and jeans.
