    It is of utmost importance that you include detailed photographs of your timepieces, and any additional boxes, papers, warranty cards, manuals or accompanying materials that your watches were originally sold with. 

    Further, please be as detailed and as accurate as possible when assessing the correct condition of your timepiece. Our timepiece specialists will then assess the condition and authenticity prior to compilation of any trade or purchase. If your timepiece is not in working order, or the condition is misrepresented, Material Good reserves the right to rescind any offer that has been made either verbally or in writing. 

  • Does Material Good have a retail location?

    Yes we do. Material Good is located in SoHo New York, at 120 Wooster on the 2nd floor. Our Soho Location is open to the public. We accept walk-ins and appointments. We always recommend making an appointment when possible.  

    Can you source a specific watch for me?

    We can, and often do. Material Good utilizes our vast network in order to find any specific timepiece you are in search of. Further, we are always buying and finding rare and sought-after timepieces alike. So, please feel free to reach out to our team even if you do not see a specific model and style on our website.

    What type of payments do you accept?

    We accept wire transfer for timepiece payments made remotely or digitally and Credit Card for in-store payments and pick-ups. We also accept PayPal on most items excluding watches, and Crypto payment via

    How do I know your watches are authentic?

    All of our timepieces are inspected by our in-house expert team upon arrival to ensure authenticity. When applicable, we defer to central serialized databases to match the exact reference, model number, and serial number to confirm that your future timepiece is authentic and has not been reported stolen. Material Good guarantees authenticity of all products sold in our boutiques and digitally via

    How do I sell my watch?

    Please submit all of the information regarding your timepiece via our Sell / Trade link and one of our timepiece specialists will reply to you in a timely manner. 

    What is your warranty on pre-owned timepieces?

    Material Good offers a one year warranty on all Pre-Owned and vintage timepieces. The warranty covers ONLY mechanical and movement defects, and does not include any damage caused to the outside of the watch (dial, bezel, case, bracelet, lugs, straps, buckle, clasp, or any additional parts). Any damage caused to the movement of the timepiece as a result of misuse, abuse, impact, or neglect will not be covered under your one year warranty.

     In the event that, as of the date of purchase, your Pre-Owned timepiece is still covered under the original manufacturer's warranty (accompanied by original papers), the original warranty will serve in place of the Material Good one year warranty until it expires. If the original manufacturer's warranty expires less than one year from the date of purchase, Material Good will offer a supplemental warranty from the date of expiration of the manufacturer's warranty up to one year from the date of purchase.

    What is your return policy?

    At Material Good we pride ourselves on customer service and satisfaction. Please read our return policy carefully. We welcome product returns within 7 days of delivery with a valid receipt for full refund to the original payment method. In order to return a product to Material Good, it must be in its original packaging and completely unworn. Returns that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted.  All sales are final 7 days after delivery.

    Custom made items are nonrefundable. Engraved items are nonrefundable. All Hermes and Chanel product purchases are final sale and nonrefundable.

    To ensure you have the smoothest experience possible, all domestic shipping fees are complementary. In some cases, international shipping fees may apply. Material Good is not responsible for any delays, additional taxes, customs duties, or fees incurred as a result of items that are shipped internationally.  Outside the US and Canada, customs duties, and sales taxes are non-refundable.

    How quickly will I receive my timepiece?

    Once your full payment has cleared and is confirmed by your specialist your timepiece will ship within 24 hours. Please note, weekends and holiday schedules will affect the timing in which your timepiece is shipped.
