Description
The Lady-Datejust is the Datejust scaled for a smaller wrist. It keeps the Oyster case, the date window under a cyclops lens, and the fluted bezel and Jubilee-style bracelet that define the line. The 69178 is the yellow gold version from the 1980s and 90s, in a 26mm case.
The coral dial is the draw. Its soft pink-orange tone is warm and unusual for the period, and it sits well against yellow gold, where a white or champagne dial would blend in. The color reads as feminine and distinctive without being loud.
Inside is an automatic movement, and the case keeps the Oyster’s water resistance. The watch is compact and easy to wear every day, with a dial color that sets it apart from the standard configurations.
