The 3800 represents a pivotal evolution in Nautilus history — introduced in 1981 as the smaller 37mm sibling to the original 3700, it democratised Genta's porthole vision without diminishing it, producing a reference that would remain in continuous production for over two decades and introduce an entirely new generation to the Nautilus proposition.
The steel configuration is the 3800 in its most essential form — no precious metal augmentation, no jewellery concessions, simply Genta's architecture expressed in the material he originally intended. The white dial variant occupies a quieter corner of the 3800 canon than the more commonly encountered blue, its cooler, more restrained palette foregrounding the horizontal embossing with a clarity that rewards close examination.
Produced across multiple generations of refinement between 1981 and 2006, the 3800 remains the Nautilus that shaped the most collectors' first impressions. That significance is not diminishing.

To ensure the best experience possible, all domestic shipping fees are complementary.
All shipments are sent via overnight delivery. Signature is required upon delivery.

Material Good is not responsible for the delayed delivery of packages due to the customer not being available for signature upon arrival, or due to any unforeseen weather or technical issue within the shipping company.

OUR RETURN POLICY

In order for your return or exchange to be eligible, the item must be completely unused and unworn in its original packaging. Material Good reserves the right to refuse any return if the items appear to be damaged or show signs of wear.

You must contact orders@materialgoodny.com within the allotted time period or your return will not be accepted. A representative will get back to you within 24 hours during business hours, Monday-Friday. Material Good provides a prepaid return label to ensure the products are protected & insured, however the client is responsible for a restock fee. Please see above for restocking fee details.
Timepiece Warranty

Material Good offers a one-year warranty on all pre-owned timepieces purchased through our boutiques and online, effective from the date of purchase. The Date of Purchase is defined as the date on the bill-of-sale, sales receipt, or any dated document designated by Material Good as proof-of-purchase. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from improper handling, evidence of external impact, unauthorized tampering, third party intervention or water damage. Each watch sold through Material Good is considered for warranty repair at the sole discretion of Material Good. All repairs needed after the 1-year warranty period will be the responsibility of the client.

The Material Good warranty does not cover damage caused by water exposure or physical impact. Our certified watchmakers will inspect any timepiece to determine the cause of damage. Material Good reserves the right to void the warranty if the damage is found to result from water intrusion or impact.
