Limited to just 100 pieces, it was unveiled one year after the Zeitwerk’s landmark debut, following its triumph at the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève in 2009. 

    Born from a practical challenge faced by Anthony de Haas, the Lumen introduced a daring smoked sapphire dial, allowing the luminous time discs to absorb light and glow vividly in the dark. This innovative solution transformed a technical masterpiece into an object of quiet drama. Today, the Phantom is revered as a defining symbol of A. Lange & Söhne’s formative years under Günter Blümlein, elegantly expressing the brand’s rare balance of restrained Saxon aesthetics and forward-thinking horological ambition.

  • Timepiece Warranty

    Material Good offers a one-year warranty on all pre-owned timepieces purchased through our boutiques and online, effective from the date of purchase. The Date of Purchase is defined as the date on the bill-of-sale, sales receipt, or any dated document designated by Material Good as proof-of-purchase. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from improper handling, evidence of external impact, unauthorized tampering, third party intervention or water damage. Each watch sold through Material Good is considered for warranty repair at the sole discretion of Material Good. All repairs needed after the 1-year warranty period will be the responsibility of the client.

    The Material Good warranty does not cover damage caused by water exposure or physical impact. Our certified watchmakers will inspect any timepiece to determine the cause of damage. Material Good reserves the right to void the warranty if the damage is found to result from water intrusion or impact.
