  • Description

Greubel Forsey occupies a position in contemporary independent watchmaking that requires no qualification among the serious collector — a manufacture founded in 2004 by Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey with the singular ambition of advancing mechanical timekeeping precision through architectural innovation rather than incremental refinement. Every reference produced carries the weight of that founding conviction.

The Double Balancier Convexe represents that philosophy in its most visually immediate form — two balance wheels set at 35 degrees to one another, their differential rates averaged to compensate for positional variation with a mechanical elegance that conventional single-balance architecture cannot approach. The convex case profile, following the natural curvature of the wrist, reflects an ergonomic consideration rare amongst manufactures prioritising visual spectacle over wearing comfort.

On rubber strap, the Double Balancier Convexe sheds any remaining formality — pure horological conviction, worn with the casual authority that only genuine mechanical significance permits.
